Hub Conference 2019
So this was hub Berlin 2019.
What a great event. I haven’t missed one since it started as Bitkom Trend Kongress and I really enjoyed every single hub conference since then. It has always been a great source of inspiration, open networking, and every year I met new interesting people.
Besides that, we had the pleasure to follow really interesting and/or inspiring talks and presentations.
My personal highlights this year were Kenza Ait Si Abbou, when she highlighted how diversity in businesses increases revenue.
Richard Gutjahr gave a very remarkable speech about his personal experience about hatespeech and how he and we should take immediate action to counter this phenomenon, best with empathy.
Tim Höttges showed consequences from the loud “Ohrfeige” that the fridaysforfuture movement is for him and all other leaders of organizations around the world and demonstrated how a larger organization can also move quickly and change priorities accordingly.
We heard little, but not nothing about blockchain and how it gets more and more adopted in production environments.
Did you know that the majority of the organization of that event is done by four people? Let’s give a shout out to those four – you’re amazing!
